JULY is a great time to visit Knysna as it is the time of the Knysna Oyster Festival running from July 2 to 11.

The Pick `n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival has a new venue in Knysna, due to the fact that the traditional venue at Loerie Park has been booked for the whole of June by the Danish football team.

The festival hub has therefore been moved to Waterfront Drive and will be known as the Pick `n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival grounds.  The Heineken Pavilion is also the venue for the Pick `n Pay Oyster and Wine Mardi Gras sponsored by Tabasco on Wednesday (July 7), and the official Heineken Afterparty on Saturday (July 10) at which the Parlotones and Flat Stanley will play.

The Premier Hotel Knysna - The Moorings is situated on the secluded banks of the Knysna Lagoon in the midst of enchanting woodland gardens.

How to get to the Hotel - if coming in from Plettenberg Bay turn left into George Rex Drive and follow the road that goes down to the Knysna Heads, following the east side of the lagoon for 1.4 km and Premier Hotel Knswyna- The Moorings will be on the right hand of the road.
